Thanksgiving Break (:

Posted in Uncategorized at 12:10 pm by pinkdomo

It’s finally that time of the year again. Thanksgiving(:

Now, I know the typical picture that comes to mind when someone thinks of the word ‘Thanksgiving’, it’s usually a large family, sitting around a table while laughing and talking.

But then, there’s always those people who just have a fat, juicy, turkey in mind.

And then again, there’s always people like……

It’s usually during Christmas time or summer break when parents decide, “Let’s take our children on a vacation to Disney World !” For my family though? Why wait for Christmas? Let’s go during Thanksgiving.

So, large family/relative dinner? Nope.

Turkey and gravy? Forget about that.

Roller coasters and healthy family fun? There’s one thing that’s right(; Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining at all. I mean, who else wouldnt like spending their Thanksgiving break looking like

This is my picture of a perfect thanksgiving break.

Pigeons- Why Are They Such Terrorists In Our Daily Lives?

Posted in Uncategorized at 2:47 pm by pinkdomo

After reading the article, I really only had one reaction.

I would’ve never thought that pigeons could create such a problem in someone’s life. I mean, if there were an unsightly amount of them, then of course, try to relocate some. But the problem at hand isn’t even the amount of pigeons that appear here and there.

Nope, I'M the problem at hand.

Honestly, I feel like Liverpool’s city council is being just plain stupid unreasonable. Spending £160,000 a year just to clean poop off of roofs and streets? Oh ,sure no problem . Let’s just call for world peace while we’re at it.

Oh, and don’t even get me started on those “Robops”.

We just don't mix.

What was that? You say they sit there to scare pigeons away?

Waste of money.

One Unit Down, X more to go !(:

Posted in Uncategorized at 1:35 pm by pinkdomo

I can honestly say that I will miss these past two months.

As the unit started, I was rather upset. Why? We were told that we had to get used to speaking to the class.

Well, when I was in 4th grade, I threw up trying to present a project to my class. Not the best way to start out someone’s confidence in speaking to an open crowd.

So, I started out this unit, happiness shattered, and hopes crushed. I was scared and nervous the day of …….well, really anything.

The idea of a sorcratic seminar terrified me. A debate? Ohno, don’t even go there.

Now knowing my strong distaste for speaking to a large group, you’d be rather surprised to discover that, to the contary, I LOVED our debates. Yes, LOVED. I wasn’t just okay with them, but instead, I couldnt wait for our next one.

My favorite thing from this unit would probably be our Most Dangerous Game debate. I loved being the angry parent, being able to point out the flaws in the book.

I hope our next unit will be just as interesting(:
