Halloween !

Posted in Uncategorized at 1:59 pm by pinkdomo

Tomorrow is October 31st, and in other words? It’s the day that kids all across America have been waiting for.

CHRISTMAS(: …….no,that’s in December. It’s Halloween!

I can't but my finger on it, but something isn't right.....

Halloween. Halloween. Halloween. Hal-

On a school night?  Well, this is new…

See, I’ve gone trick-or-treating ever since I was born.

This year though, I’m not too sure. I mean, with 2 tests on Tuesday &all:/

Honestly, I’m really disappointed about this. Why couldn’t we get Monday off? I mean, Lambert and other schools are out on monday, even though a lot of people don’t actually consider Halloween a holiday.

Well guys, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

. . .

. . .

Ask her 5 year old neighbor to bring an extra bag to collect candy for her when he goes skips down the streets in a bedsheet.

Firemen burn down houses. People talk to televisions that surround them on four walls. Many people have never taken the time to tilt their head back and just enjoy the rain.

Say whaaaa-?

All those unimaginable events are all commonplace things in the novel, Farenheit 451.

In comparison to 1984, Farenheit 451 was by far more interesting. The book got right to the plot; I didn’t have to read through 70 pages to see what the book was about. In fact, after reading only the first 2 pages, I was interested to know what would happen next. So I turned the page.

Then another.

And another.

And another. When I reached Part 2, I felt like time had flown by.

Already? But this reading assignment isn't due until Thursday!

As I continue reading, I hope this book continues to meet up to my standards(:

CRCT, EOCT, SAT, and. . . PSAT?

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:04 pm by pinkdomo

So, since school started, it’s been relatively decent. Yeah, there’s a few hard tests here and there, but there’s nothing worth bawling your eyes over yet. In fact, it’s almost weird there’s nothing hard ready to jump out in front of our face and slap us.

Oohhh, that's going to leave a mark.

I mean, think about it. CRCT? Don’t have those anymore.  EOCT? We still have time.

SAT? Pfft, not this year.  PSAT? . . . . . .

Wait, whaaaa? When’s that again? Next month, right?

. . .Next WEEK? Ohmygoodness, since when did time fast foward into the future?

Hoping that I’m not the only person that realized the PSAT was next wednesday a while ago, I wonder how everyone else prepared. I mean, we all got these thin little PSAT practice books a month ago, but I feel like I’m the only one that actually used it.

I'm just here to make your backpack heavier.

  . . .Yeah,that’s it.

The practice booklet is as close to the real thing PSAT that i’ve ever taken before \:

Wish me luck?

Banned Books Project~

Posted in Uncategorized at 2:54 pm by pinkdomo

Just a warning: This post will be short, because. . .I’m tired.

So, we’re required to pick a banned book to do a report on. Yes, a banned book. A book that isn’t allowed in many places. Why must we be one of the few to do a project on it. We’re lucky to be able to do a unit on this[:

For my banned books project, I chose: Perks of Being a Wallflower

Why? It’s really because I couldn’t find any information on Galileo on The Giver.

Why is there no information?!

That, and too many people were doing it. :/

So, after searching up a few other books on the banned books list, I finally decided to go with Perks of Being a Wallflower.
After reading a short description, the plot seemed interesting, && I already have a good idea on why it’s banned.

That’s really everything. . .
Told you guys that this blog would be short;)
